We respond to various needs with consistent company-internal systems.
Our excellent technology can produce ultra fine wire such as 9μ,11μ,13μ in diamenter.
We respond to customer's Request.
Our specialty is to produce ultra fine wire and ultra fine wire ropes such as 9μ,11μ,13μ... and so on.

Wire Rope Materials
With wire rope, it is important to select materials that match the application. At Osaka Coat Rope, we have readied a variety of materials including stainless steel.

 Austenitic stainless steel
Material Characteristics
SUS304 has excellent corrosion resistance, heat resistance and machining characteristics. We use SUS304 as a rope material as long as there are no particular specifications that demand otherwise. Flexible wire is non-magnetic, but rigid wire is magnetic. (For use in the fishing industry and with OA equipment)
SUS316 has very good corrosion resistance and acid resistance due to the addition of molybdenum. This material is non-magnetic.
SUS316L is a 18cr-12Ni-2.5Mo steel with carbon suppressed to a very low level and has good corrosion resistance, acid resistance and grain boundary corrosion resistance. (For use in necklaces)

 Other Raw Materials
Material Characteristics
Copper wire We use copper wire as a compound material for use with stainless steel because of its good electrical characteristics. (For use in lighting equipment)
Tungsten wire Tungsten wire is light, has high tensile strength and is resistant to high temperatures. (Wore for use in industrial robots and fishing)
Shape memory alloy While this alloy is a metal, a straight rope is always possible if it is expanded and contracted and made to remember a straight line. (Wire for use in necklaces, brassieres and sweetfish fishing)

Wire rope has a complex structure with many individual wires combined together. It is important to know and select the characteristics of the rope required.

7 strands (1x7)
The SE type is the basic structure for wire. SE type wire rope strands are used in a wide variety of applications, such as accessories and fishing, etc.

49 strands (7x7)
The SB type is a configuration combining 7 1×7 strands. If the strands have the same external diameter, this structure has even richer flexibility than 1×7. This is the standard configuration for wire with a diameter of 0.8mm or more.

19 strands (1x19)
The SG type is a configuration for use in push-pull power transmission. The surface has no irregularities and has a smooth finish because this type has been developed for use as an inner wire.

9 strands (1x3)
Because stainless steel used to be expensive years ago, this configuration was devised as a substitute for the 1×7 configuration. This type is not used very much at present because the price of stainless steel is currently low.

The SF type is mainly used as a wire for fisheries.

The rotation occurrence rate of the SI type is low because the stranding method includes mutually interspersed Z-stranding and S-stranding.

21 strands (3x7)
Because stainless steel used to be expensive years ago, this configuration was devised as a substitute for the 7×7 configuration. This type is not used very much at present because the price of stainless steel is currently low.

133 strands (7x19)
This is a type that has made the 7×7 configuration more flexible. However, assuming that the width is the same, tensile strength is slightly poorer than the 7×7 configuration.

75 strands (8x7+1x19)
The SS type is a composition with a 19-strand (SG type) core and 8 7-thread configured strands (SE type) applied around the core.

The SR type is the opposite configuration to the SS type, with a 7×7 (SB type ) core and 8 1×19 (SB type) strands applied around the core.

Mono Wire
This is a single thread of stainless steel wire (SUS-304). There are 2 main types, an annealed material and a rigid wire. The type like a thin wire that bends easily is known as Annealed Material (W-1) and the strong type that retains its shape is known as Rigid Wire (WP-B). Otherwise, we can also prepare mono wire using SUS-316, SUS-316L, copper wire, titanium, shape-memory alloy, pure silver or pure gold, etc., in accordance with requirements.

Coating Types
The properties of metallic materials and the characteristics of resins are brought together by coating to make wire rope products with new characteristics.
Material Characteristics
PA-6 PA-6 wire rope excels in weather resistance and chemical resistance and is used in the fishing industry, particularly as rope for recreational fishing and as rope for accessories.
PA-12 PA-12 wire rope has richer flexibility than PA-6 and is used as wire rope for driving OA equipment, etc.
PA-12+OIL Corrosion resistance and acid resistance are very good due to the addition of oil. This material is non-magnetic.
This material has good slippage and excellent fatigue properties due to the inclusion of carbon. The operating life of this type is 2~3 times longer than ordinary nylon type material.
